Lenore was born at the
Royal University of Saskatchewan Hospital in 1965. She was
raised on a farm on the shores of Redberry Lake and went to school in
Blaine Lake. Lenore considers Krydor, Hafford, Marcelin, Leask, Bordon,
and Speers and tons of places in and amongst the area to be part of her
playground growing up. Lenore remains actively involved in the family
farm.
Her mom, Annie, along with her
brother, Gordon (with special needs and Mom’s right hand guy) operate
the family farm since the passing of her Dad (Ben) in 2005.
If you want to talk green thumb just ask the locals about Lenore’s
Mom’s gardens – they’re renowned in the area!
Two elder brothers,
Rod and Doug, along with their wives, Rhea and Lynn, operate
family farming operations nearby. A nephew, Courtney, brings
a fourth generation into the fold. Niece Shauna and her husband, Jeff,
make Saskatoon home along with their two boys, Nathan and Aaron. And, a
niece Bree and her husband, Curtis, are about to expect their first
child. Another niece, Brandi, is back in University, now working on a
nursing degree.
Lenore’s partner, Kelley heralds from the Yorkton area and brings a
whole other dynamic addition to the family. With Grandpa Moore and
Denise holding fort in Yorkton, the rest of the family -- Dad Randy and
partner, Florence; two sisters, Ally (and partner Clayton) and
Danielle,and brothers Christopher (his wife, Ninette and children,
Jonah and Daniel) and Desmond (his partner, Angel, and son Dominic) --
reside in Saskatoon.
At home, Kelley and Lenore enjoy
their two favourite critters, TallTail and Orlo, who add tons of fun to
an already blessed family life.
